Poem -

The Prince of darkness

Whoever stands in the shadow of the Prince of darkness
becomes cursed and belongs to him,
and he casts a long shadow over the land,
far and wide ,
thunder roars and lightning strikes,
causing chaos to all and sundry,
he smiles and sucks the soul from the shadow warriors ,
condemning them to a life of agony and misfortune,
crops fail to grow and homes get shaken to the foundations,
waves crash over stricken sailors,
washing most of them overboard
whilst the remaining few get sick from the sea-salt on their lips,
guns blaze and fires burn out of control,
the ground at the cursed feet crumbles before them;
and volcanoes spew out toxic gasses
blackening the earth sky,
so when you see the Prince of darkness approaching,
you had better hide from his shadow.
