The Queen's Gambit

the gameĀ 
is played
In my head

the moves
are determined
by words spoken
facial expressions
and what is left
unsaidĀ 

the boardĀ 
is constructed
with a warrior's
intent
a battlegroundĀ 
to human behavior

Make your move
the bishop
will bow
to my direction
a knight ofĀ 
deception
will turn
the table
to the Queen's Gambit
forcing the
opponentĀ 
to involuntarily
ResignationĀ
