The Queen's Gambit

The Queen's Gambit

the gameĀ
is played
In my head

the moves
are determined
by words spoken
facial expressions
and what is left
unsaidĀ

the boardĀ
is constructed
with a warrior's
intent
a battlegroundĀ
to human behavior

Make your move
the bishop
will bow
to my direction
a knight ofĀ
deception
will turn
the table
to the Queen's Gambit
forcing the
opponentĀ
to involuntarily
ResignationĀ

Ā
