The Raven

The wind howls breaking the
silence of the night
While the trees sway back and forth
tapping at my window sillΒ
I sit in my room in total darknessΒ
of the silent nightΒ
While the trees sway back and forthΒ
tapping at my window sill
There is a raven that sits at
my window sillΒ
Watching me like a hungry hawk
that circles his prey
Staring at me with those
blood shot eyes
With an evil little smile that
sends fear to my heart
Fear that tighten this beatingΒ
heart of mine
Makes me wonder if my time
has come to an end
For he sits there staring deep
into my soul reflection
Waiting for the moment to rip
my flesh to feed
He is the servant that death
Β has sent to me
To come and claim the prize
that death awaits
Now the time has come to
have everlasting sleep
Cause I have cheated death
for the prize he awaits
The wind grows violent as the
branches sway back and forth
Shattering my window
like tiny little diamonds
The raven enters my room
with a smirk on his face
Staring into my soul withΒ
those cold dark eyesΒ
I can taste the fear that lies
deep within my soul
And the wind that is blowingΒ
sends a chill down my spine
Darkness has enter my room
that swallows my life
As the raven smiles for my
faith has come to end
My time has come for death
to claim my soul
The soul that he craves to fill
that empty stomachΒ
Feedind on the the fears that
I held deep within me
Entering into the land of
everlasting sleep
The raven sits at my window to
remind people of my doom
Doom that left a burden on this
cold beating heart of mine
For when your time will come
death shall not rest
Entering into everlasting sleep
brings a smile to my face
