THE RAVEN AND THE CROW AND THE ROOSTER
The moon is full as
the church clockย
stirkes midnightย
and the churchย
bells ring asย
midnight massย
begins the poor
souls sit in church
listening to the priest
say his sermon as
the children choir
sings AVE MARIE
outside the ravenย
flys from grave to grave
and the crow CROWS
to the midnight moon
the priest say the red wine
you drink is the blood
of JESUSย the moon
shines on the river
as the crow flys from
grave to grave and
the raven CROWSย
at the midnight moon
and the priest say lets
all prayer for all the poor
souls in the world
as midnight mass ends
the poor souls walk from
grave to grave and theย
raven and the crow fly away
in a far off distancesย
a rooster CROWS to midnight

Hi GREG!!...I LOVE the ambiance that you've created with this poem.....it reminds me a bit of Edgar Allen Poe's tone and imagery......it hangs there in the darkness as the Crow & The Raven help the sinister undertone drive this home!!......ALL STARS!!.....a pleasure to read dear poet brother!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xoย : )
