The Ray

Journey to Light

The Ray

Where I have been destined
the preordained displaced
forbearance and enlightenment,
non-existent, disgraced

Time was made for opportune delights
organized one for one
But, misinformed was my heart
and dispensed that more was none

Nothingness, in want
Pleasant past would haunt,
carved into chiprock
Creation encountered mock...

what I have moulded out of clay
Hardened in time to last
Centuries in mind and wholeness
crashed soundly, came the past...

like a rushed pirate ship to wreak,
pummel with tumult, horizon bleak
But, I sail on as I see through clouds
a ray of hope until heaven enshrouds
