Poem -

THE REAL BUG'S LIFE

Believe me my friend it's not easy being a bugĀ
Trying to hide when a garden is being dugĀ
The fears and terror whenever I see a spadeĀ
Time to beat a retreat as the garden is laidĀ

I'm sure that the gardener thinks nothing of me
Small on the eye and almost difficult to see
Against a gardener I don't stand a chanceĀ
A bug's life certainly ain't a song and a danceĀ

Sure I have bugs near me who are close aroundĀ
This garden is our home the soil is our groundĀ
So dear gardener please treat me with respectĀ
I cause you no harm and certainly no ill effect
