Poem -
The Rebirth (A working title)
The dragon, a beast waiting to be unleashed.
The fire it breathes is vented pain the smoke trailing from its nostrils is vaporized dreams.
But something new sought its torment, its torture its pain; replacing it with purpose, ambition, and aim.
Chains from their recent life, now smoldering remnants, no longer binding such a heavenly creature.
Finally unleashed are wings, leading to a path unknown, its past forever cinders to be forgotten, extinguished from being.

It took 10mins to draft but the rest of the day to finalize what you read!
I love dragons too, its one of the reasons I chose a dragon over demons or the poem would have taken a darker in tone instead of lighter one in nature.
I would have replied earlier but my phone won't let me write, reply or comment on here so I had to wait until I got home.
