The return of an annual housebreaker

What do you call of this stunt?

Into my home you have managed to gain an access

But what's with the bright red disguise in the clothes  that you dress?

& more to the point how did you even gain entry in?

Did you think I wouldn't notice my milk & cookies missing! !

You even had the adaucity & cheek to steal a carrot or two

What was your meaning of breaking an entry that you so casually do?

It was only a into searching my home minutes later

That I noticed bright coloured wrapped objects sat below my seasonal tree.

Spread put ever so neatly in small bundles

Which on close inspection I saw they were addressed out to me.

  Had you planted a bomb hidden inside 

To set off upon unwrapping?

My mind went into overdrive & in panickeds thoughts were flapping. 

For you couldn't possibly be whom I'd believed in when young?

I'd stopped believing many years ago now 

And that's when no gifts to me were again brung.

Slowly I embraced upon rational thought 

& opening my parcels soon relief was instead to me brought.

Unfair accusations I'd made upon the beliefs gone in times past.

When I'd stopped believing on santa 

In the ghosts of xmas's past.
