Poem -

The Rollator

She is on her way

β€œReady?” – we will make the best of today.

β€œAre you all set?”- not just yet but we will manage.

She moves; it rolls.

Always there to keep her upright, standing and willing to walk.

It is there for support

as she stops to talk

They’ve been close for years –

But mainly due to fear.

Leaving it behind would bring her to tears.

You don’t need it any longer

Be brave; be bold; be strong.

The rollator – the means by which you got along.

Leave it to the side now.

You’ve made it – with pride

Congratulations

It was worth a try.
