Poem -

The Scar

I have a scar on my face.
A scar I feel like I cannot remove
As I walk out of dark clouds it reveals clear as day
Part of my face weeps while the other hides in space.

My heart keeps singing sad songs and feeling sorrow
My insecurities scream loudly more than ever
My hopes are that it will be gone by tomorrow
But then I just realized that I have another

The other burning long under my sweater
Which means no matter how much I cover it,
During any type of weather
The scar is there invading my comfort forever.
