The Second Time Around

For my eternal Soulmate Linda, in honor of our Wedding Vow Renewal

Frank Sinatra sang a song, the most beautiful of sounds;
It told how “Love was lovelier, “The Second Time Around”!
Yesterday, we experienced it, those deep feelings too;
For on our Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Day, we repeated our I-Dos!

In a lovely spiritual ceremony, we stood close and held each others hands;
We looked back on the last quarter-century, and all of life’s demands!
We wrote each other precious words, from our hearts and from our Souls;
About how we withstood all the trials, our union so very whole!

We sipped wine from a silver Kiddush Cup, as God’s Blessings to us were read;
“I will love you dear forever”, again these words we said!
Then for that sacred second time, we were pronounced as “Man and Wife”;
To love and be true cherished, for the rest of both our lives!
