The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins

Pride comes before a fall, don't knock your head
against a wall, instead be gracious, concede defeat,
be content with what you have, don't be a chav,
others worse off than you, don't pretend to care.

Many want more, gathering within their open arms,
generate wrath, if they don't succeed with greed,
I envy you, no I don't, you are unworthy mon ami,
know my value, probably better than you will ever be.

We look at your body with lust, oh well if you must,
that's the way it will always be between you and others,
there you go again, scoffing your face after depression,
not the answer, you've lost control - it's an obsession.

The sloth was there hanging in a position of idleness,
as some do, be careful that it doesn't turn out to be you.

VERY creative TERRY!!....the way you wove the 7 deadly sins into the fabric of this piece...it was compelling because I found myself playing detective and carefully going through, like a word jumble, or whatever you call those puzzles where you have find the words in this grid of jumbled letters....anyway, I found six of them......and a LOT of fun looking for them....cool stuff my friend!!....enjoyed!!.......ALL STARS!!....LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo  : )
