The Shame of Yesterday’s News

Let us NOT Forget Lilia Valutyte

Although as yet
they have not released her name ..
I find myself again
ashamed of my own species ..
When turning to
the mid-day news, to note the BBC
consider it more
important to report upon the final
summing up and
findings of some high court judge
whose name
I can’t remember
regarding the infantile behaviour
of two contrived
pathetic WAG’s
and relegate the fatal stabbing of
a nine year old girl
from Lithuania into third place ..
Now on reflection
I wonder if born in the Ukraine
what an outrage
that would have caused, these days

Neville I couldn't agree more with your sentiments in this write...or maybe outrage.
I feel it too...we must follow America at all costs. The world is arse backwards. One of the things I most loved about covid was the complete absence of totally up themselves plastic celebrities. I'm not ashamed to say that I don't like this world or us at all x

Being Me

The news is "fashionable" in its own way. It is designed to reign in the viewers. It is not enough to report the news ... I feel the actual news is secondary to the audience. And so you get sensationalism. Poor little girl 😭  xx
