The shapes our lives make together

The shapes our lives make together

The breeze flew through me like I was an open door,
My darkness and insecurities shining,
But holding his hand I'm not afraid
I feel acceptance. Love. Hope.
A future.

Toying like children with ideas stemming from our feelings
Our feelings that encapsulate both of us, young adults
In a warm summer breeze that blows right through the open doors in the spacesĀ
Between us we age together

Blowing over the hills of my body
Flowing over the curves of the mountains
Getting stuck in the harshness and solidity of his body
Like words unspokenĀ

That hang
On the tongueĀ
Your accent "Tonguel", tangle
Like my hair when his sweet words touch their roots

Right down to my heart passed my core
Down to my feetĀ
Touching my marrow
We're moving forwards

Two lovers riding through Eden on top of a broken wheelbarrow
