The Shelter

The Shelter

I died and I saw a glimpse of a place filled with peace

Somewhere that love was more than abundant

Right before I was brought back to life

God offered a decision to me

I could have heaven in pieces

But I must live in a place that was filled with judgment

Long forgotten a version of hell

Condemned I must live

A jungle filled with rage

But every other day I could escape

Go back to that place

It was that or I would never see heaven again

So quickly and swiftly I made my decision

To hell I would go and live

Just to be able to visit heaven time and time again

So here I am

Burning in the flames

Waiting for the day

I get to go back

The torture is worth it best believe that

To get to be where I'm at

Heaven is real yes I know

Because this is the place I get to go

I walk through hell with bare feet

Just so I can have her with me

Best believe

I have no regret

I choose to live in hell with my judgment

Because in this life I see heaven

It's in her eyes

It's in her bed and

It's in her arms

No need to be alarmed

The devil too is real

Hell is where I'm condemned

In life the place I fell

Just to rise her love rescues me from my hell
