'The Silence of Sleep'

'The Silence of Sleep'

Have you ever seen moonlight sparkle through the air?
Or a room full of angels where the darkened demons dare,
where everything is treated with tender loving care,
in a world of your mind, where everything is fair.

Before I dream I'll say a little prayer,
asking the heavens, dreaming you'll be there,
to heighten hopes to a heightened heap,
imagining limitless thoughts of the deep,
as I tiptoe into your mind and creep,
head down soft without a peep.

From cloud to cloud we'd run and leap
as we both run away, hand in hand in our sleep.

Thanks so much again ;). Me too, I love writing about dreams because there's no walls of ceiling to it. I'll be sure to read some of your work xx
