The Siren

The Siren

Last night I heard a red haired Siren singing from the sea,
At least I thought she was singing to me..
Her harmonies beckoning,
Her melodies wild and free..
I lay still and I listened
To the call of the wild
The full moon beating in the heart of a child
Her madness enthused me
I got drunk on her wailing
As she sang with the waves
Unceasing, ne'er failing.
My heart fastly beating
To the sound of her voice
Bewitched and beguiled
She left me no choice..
Last night I heard a siren singing from the sea
At least I thought she was singing for me..
