The sky full of flight

The sky full of flight

One late October evening
I drove to Berwick It was still light
I was going to buy some fireworks for Bonfires night

When I walked across to Tesco in the busy carpark
Everyone was looking up
The sky looked almost dark

All at once I got a startle
Coz a loud strange noise I heard
I was absolutely flabergasted
Tho I never said a word

The sky was filled with action
Geese were flying to the sea
I couldnt quite take in this wonderous thing that I did see

There was black dots in the distance & they were all flying south
I’ve never seen so many ‘V’s’
I just stood with open mouth

There must have been a million geese in the sky that night
It surely was remarkable
& The most memorable sight
