beyond the sharp edge
of sheer sky,
anchored in clouds...

The feather so light
floats gracefully through the air
As the nest now empty

Maverick prince
of castles in the sky,
floating still amongst
the passing clouds,...

i reach to close the window,
you stretch to put my hand aside,
i say - it’s getting chilly...

The world is sand and ocean,
