The slow Snail 🥲

Round and around a garden, the Puppy chased his tail
Trying with all his might to catch it, but alas to no avail
When all of a sudden he got sidetracked, by a stationary slow snail
Who was so scared stiff of this crazy canine, with the wind beneath his sail
The sluggish snail had stopped sleepily in his trudging tracks
Dangerously ducking and diving, avoiding four furry ferocious angry attacks
The poor soul knew he could never survive, one of those stomping smacks
So he stood as still as a statue, sinking into the cobbled stone cracks
Now the trouble was with that, this playful Puppy thought it was a nice round stone
This thing was completely lifeless, without a moan or a groan
And this Doggies mistress was sitting just lazily, fiddling on her mobile phone
So her pet picked it up in amongst his slobbery slaver, and dropped it at his bosses boots, ready to be thrown…
“OH MY GIDDIANT!!” shouted the startled Snail in a spiralled state
As he spun around like a spinning wheel, not feeling that great
And he landed with a thump from the bump on the garden gate
Of course this same scenario seemed to last a lifetime, leaving the Snail sickly and sedated, never knowing his fate…
