comment poke and post
how many viewed me this week?
friends from coast to coast.
Selfies in the bathroom,
forums from my bed,
a legend in my own mind,
sweet notions in my head.
Will they like my workout?
or the clothes I just bought?
that holiday snap in the sun,
another like is sought.
Tagging all my travels
to draw envy's glare,
a vacant house for all to know
as I'm blissfully unaware.
No sanctity in secrecy
privacy or respect,
just climb that lofty pedestal
no time to reflect.
The swiping and the clicking
preys on the self filled mind,
a narcissistic craving
no cure will they find.
