Poem -

THE SONG OF NOW (inspired by a brilliant poem by the brilliant Tony Taylor)

It is not hard
Not hard to know at all
A body might just let go
Completely wholeheartedly
Release itself to fall

A body might just be still
And silent
And watchful for the moment
The heart might slow its flowing heat
Reset it's rythym beat

The mind might quiet itself
Surrender to its smallness
Draw itself silent
And know itself filled up
With impressions from the higher

A body might draw a deeper breath
Be rid of the shallow
Feel nature's touch upon its brow
It is not at all hard
To know the song of... NOW.

Hi Marion...I definitely see the inspiration of this from Tony's poem...how we need to slow down in life and take a breath...to appreciate nature and connect to our spirit again...The world can be so confusing and try to distract us from what is important in life...and that is so sad.  We are complex creations from a creator that can talk to us in the stillness if we would just quiet our world from its influence and feel the song of now....letting go of the shallow thoughts and focus on a very powerful message of the heart.  I love the theme...Great work!  xo Love n Hugs

Hi Cherie, it was Tony's poem that set my brain off along these lines whether he intended it or not...lol...so only fair to mention though whether or not I took the correct meaning from his work I don't know, regardless his work inspired my brain to go off on this tangent. Your opinions are very valuable to me Cherie, as I produce work in a manic rush and then...nothing at all for weeks. So I get it down, the good along with the bad 😬😬before it dries up. The great thing about this site is the facility to go back and edit!! Thankyou as ever, lovely lady 💕
