THE SQUARE AND THE HEART

Wish I was born a circle said the unhappy square
He was really upset and thought it totally unfair
I told him to be brave and try to act strong 
Things could be worse he could be an oblong 

So the square listened to the words that I did say 
The poor triangle has three sides every single day
Think also of the oval a most nondescript shape
Not square nor round almost like that of a grape 

The square thanked me and started to recover 
I am heart shaped and do the best for my lover 
He may be square but he is always in my heart
Let us throw some shapes and never do part
