The Stars As Glitter

I'm seeing the unchanged glow on high

The Milky Way is spilled

Across the sky

No pebbles or cobblestones in sight

To litter

Only gems, the stars as glitter

And I'm seeing the moon's gouged, bright face

It tells me to study minute details of history

To bring to light the blackened pearls of wisdom And some golden mystery

I already know the mystery of my heart

It unfolds itself when I look to the heavens

And the pearls of wisdom that I seek are coming

I will simply wait to receive and garner

Then when I think of a lost love

Stolen or runaway dove

I will look to the stars above
