Poem -
‘The Still Of The Night’
Golden shadows cast a glance,
on glistening waters waving dance.
**********
In pools of solitude the Moon shines on,
shimmering softly, anon-anon.
**********
In still dark pond, on lily pad
croaks the friendly toad.
**********
The Sun has gone to his nightly rest,
whilst Sister Moons inclined to cast,
**********
Her whitest glow, as evetime lingers
a stillness she knows best.
Peace be there, until the dawn awakens.
**********
