‘Tis but a Feather’

‘Tis but a Feather’

How fragile this life
Tis' but a feather

Caught within roaring rivers
and eddying tides

Be-twixt tumultuous seas,
floundering headlong.

Into the open arms
and hungry mouth

Of mortalities-
beckoning Ocean.
