Grace Under Pressure
I was a
Very happy miner 49er
Panning for gold
my beloved dog
circling me playing
then a guttural roar
a heart wrenching yelp
my dog in the jaws
of six hundred pound eating machine
Even though there was gold dust in it
I threw my pan at it
it was making a meal of my dog
I saw red in my mind
and on the ground
Then everything switched off
No fear
No sadness
All
Except my plan
Grabbed a rock
Not too big and not
too small..And a handful of
flat rocks
I knew he would come for me
I was going to kill it...
I Crossed the creek fast
and climbed up a tree
An hour had gone by
the soon to be dead beast
lumbered over crossing the creek
I threw a flat rock at
and hit it..
It was on !!!!
it charged up to the tree I was in
And stood up
It had to be all of seven feet tall
It roared ....I could smell the
blood from my dog and there was
white foam dripping from its mouth
I took the rock
and threw it in its throat
it started to gasp and choke
its eyes were bulging out
this brought me great joy
I took my knife out
and plunged it deep
into its brain-pan
THUD it went down
This miner 49er had bear steaks.....
<Moral of the story fear nothing>

Wow!!! And I understand totally ! Specially if someone or something kills your dog.... ! And yes, sometimes the most threatening huge monsters are so easy to kill ;-)
Yes they are
totally brilliant, creative as hell great fun; unless it really happened, comments aren`t so bad either, cheers man....enjoyed, except the part where the dog got eaten
