A Prophet
Arose
from a
Place Call 
Strawberry Fields

Being gifted
with verse
he envisaged 
a world
where tranquility
would dominate
allowing
hate to
erode
from the
powerful
antibiotic
of 
Love

Many said
he was
a
dreamer
who
envisioned
a
place
where 
control
was
netither
given
or 
taken

Where
Wars 
would be
a past time
and
Religion
would
not
hold
the yoke
of its
believers

Where 
People
would 
congreate 
finally
giving
peace
a
chance

Sadly though
His demise
came to 
an end
on
December 8th 1980

Silencing the 
Powers that Be's
Villian
