The sweet street urchin 🥲

There’s a little girl standing in the corner of a room, tho she’s only ten years old this tiny soul’s seen gloom
Darkness, desperation, sadness with pain, far too much heavy-heartedness for such a small child to unchain
Orphaned from her childhood mother, an illegitamate baby from a rape
With  no knowledge of her birth parents coz of mislaid red tape
Bureaucracy has failed her miserably, a lost, neglected legality
This poor mite has no blood relatives, only a false identity
Will her situation change for the better ? Well only time can tell
She has many foster homes ahead of her, sheer uncertainty of probable hell
May the lord watchover this sweet street urchin, God speed her on her wavering way
Send your archangel’s to guide her thru the right paths, towards happiness I pray…
