Poem -

THE TALE OF THE ACORN

The sky is blue
the sun is bight
on a cold winter
 Day and the  wind
Was Blowing all around
In the  oak tree was
Acorn who sat in
Tree by  a church
by the sea on the
Ground was chipmunk
And squirrel running
around

I am acorn in tree
some time they call
me an oaknut well
on this day was sunday
church was in and
SUDDENLY !!!! I fell to ground
where the squirrel
and chipmunk
running around
THEN!!!! the  squirrel
found me and he stood
up and held me in his hands
SUDDENLY!!! the chipmunk
Ran by stole me away and
down  his hole i went
And puts me in corner
With all the other acorns

AND THAT TALE OF THE ACORN

The fish of the sea

Your broken line structure sometimes have highlights that make me read over and over... this is my favorite from this poem

Tree by  a church
by the sea on the
Ground was chipmunk
And squirrel running
around

So much like a song its magnificent. Peace and smiles. The Fish of the Sea

"... puts me in corner
With all the other acorns"

So will the acorn be happy with others?

Loved reading this Greg for it it's fun write and has an innocent charm of its own, with more than a tale (no pun intended) or two to tell.
And one to email to my daughter who'll enjoy reading your poem too.
Thanks Greg and sometimes a charismatic poem is often the most challenging to write let alone think up.

Greg she will love reading it and I'm catching up again tomorrow and if I see any more that I believe she'll enjoy I'll tag them  and send them too.
And you have written so many with so many differing themes and content.
A great volume of work and a real joy to read as well.
And my hat is off to you Greg and I thank you and also a future thank you bestowed from my daughter.🙂
