The Time

The Time

There was no time to save us from calamity
The demise was quick
Lightning would be slow compared to us ending the fairytale we lived
If the sky falls from space
If the stars expire
Should midnight fall out as a puzzle with its thick pieces scattered as debris on black rolling seas
If the moon disappears and juxtaposed in its place is a paper moon
I'll still believe in you and me
There is still time to save us from catastrophe
Where is the time?
Somewhere beneath the rubble, the aftermath
In the ruins of our fairytale

Thank you, Silent Dreamer. Finding the lost time and the magic is holding onto a memory and seeing there's still hope. It sounds desperate and painful, doesn't it? But writing about it can help in many ways. Glad you like.
