The Time Machine

Well I'm BACK! Two Thousand Seventeen.
I been in England, And seen the young Queen.
I returned to my nest, a week before I left.
To duplicate my act, And the look that I kept.

My dog missed me:( Knew I was gone too long.
My Wife noticed,...That something was wrong:0
My walk was slower, My voice was lower.
Was rusty at work,...(blamed it on a hang over)

Life was great! In Nineteen Fortynine.
Truman was President. We had a great time!
The War was over, Was seldom sober.
My favorite Month, Was the Month of October.

Faster than you, could produce a tear.
I lived it up, for a two fullΒ years.
The age ofΒ Jive, Took many test drives,
And was amazed by the sound, of RCA's 45s.
