The Town Of Baltimore (My Home)

Deep into the utter silence
He whispers to me
Baltimore comes to mind,
And I am home.
On a park bench,
A middle aged man sits,
With the man with the vultures eye.
The midnight Raven
Stalks its prey; The Black Cat
The shining knight
Seeking El Dorado Passes by
Asking the townspeople
For a word of advice
"Down through the Catacombs
And the Cask of Amontillado
There are voices
That are meant to be followed.
I'm getting older,
And cannot go on.
I really wish not to try.
But know this still,
By my words and will,
This is not where I say Goodbye."
