THE TREES ARE OUR FRIENDS

THE TREES ARE OUR FRIENDS

The trees are our friends we should treat tham like family
And hug tham and kiss tham and say I love you and sit with tham talk
To tham and when you walk in the woodsΒ  look up in the trees and see
The sun you will feel free the trees are our friends so be kind you will
Find a beautifulΒ  worldΒ  in the trees,The trees are our friends we should
Treat tham like lovers and give tham flowers and plant tham all around
The sound in thewoodsΒ will be Β quit and peaceful the trees are our friends,
The trees are our friends so dance and sing to tham and let tham know you
You love tham the trees are our friends

Hello Greg...

I have lots of Cottonwood Trees around me...

In the Summer my Granddaughter loves all the soft white stuff she asked if it's Summer Snow...

No Honey, it's cotton from the trees...

Show me, she asked...

Last Summer she wanted to go and with me and see the Cottonwood trees they also appear to have faces on them she gets a kick out it...

They don't have those trees at home she says...

These are Mountain Trees she says, she loves the Mountains...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

An absolutely gem of a poem I really enjoyed it and you're so right the trees provide us with lots of treasures from animals , fruit , paper even most of our dwellings perhaps the trees are the favorite of our creator being that without trees I don't know that life would exist. Thanks for the wonderful write.

Hello, Greg.
I couldn't help but be reminded of that fabulous famous poem by Joyce Kilmer as I read your own poem.
I completely concur for where would we be without trees life-giving properties?

Trees
By Joyce Kilmer

"I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree."

Nice writing,
