The truth of the matter

The truth of the matter

The truth of the matter is -
I don't like you very much.
You drone on incessantly about unnecessary stuff.
You make decisions that affect everyone;  on your own.
Have you ever wondered why my daily narrative is one giant moan?
How did we get to this situation
I ponder daily.
Once upon a time, I doted on you
Everything about you -
Mainly.
I can't do this anymore
This life is a bore to me.
I have decided finally that
I am going to leave my old self here
So the new model can be finally free.
