the virus

the virus

When
little voices
speak

hate
bias
contempt

are not
present

these
feelings
are
not
born

they
are
learned

The virus
Is a pandemic
It is called
Adulthood

maybe
as grownups
we should
spend more
time
learning
rather
than teaching

recapturing
what
it means
to be in a state
of innocence
would be
lesson one
