the virus

the virus

Whenย
little voices
speak

hateย
bias
contempt

are not
present

these
feelings
are
not
born

they
are
learned

The virus
Is a pandemic
It is called
Adulthoodย

maybe
as grownups
we should
spend more
time
learning
rather
than teachingย

recapturing
whatย
it means
to be in a state
of innocence
would be
lesson one

Being Me

Absolutely spot on!ย  Racism and other hate crimes are learned. Children can pick it up from other children but ultimately the child they learnt it from would have been taught it by an adult. It is sad. Well penned x
