The Web

Pull your chair a little closer,
in this long and sleepless night,
when there is no place for you to go,
lock the door and turn off the light,
while you stare at the ceiling,
and there is no one that you could call,
through the blinds the light is beaming,
revealing spiders on your wall.

While you walk around in circles,
and most of the days feel quite the same,
into the world outside your window,
a mind is a losing game.
