The wind beckons me

The wind beckons me

I close my eyes and the wind beckons me,
Begs me to join it on an adventure.
It pulls me, lifts me up and pushes me onwards.
It doesn't tell me what to do,
Only shows me where to go.
It guides me through the day and night.
It asks for nothing in return,
but that I should follow.
That I should close my eyes and wonder.
That I should dream of our destination and
chase it for as far as the wind shall take us.

We spin all noon,
Until the crevasses,
They do bloom.
