The Wind Cried Mary

For my dear Mum Mary Elizabeth who left without saying goodbye & far too soon ..

The Wind Cried Mary

The wind it
Called her name
And she was gone
But a star
Was born instead

And while no one
Knows
For sure
Just how many
Stars burn bright

Mark these words
My friend another one
Shall surely shine tonight
While I shall whisper soft
Her name again that of Mother
