the wind of change

The Wind of Change

Here today not sure about tomorrow
Divided into groups of feelings
Mind massaged by the experts
The canned political beliefs are rampant
People spouting the latest charade
I for one do not buy any of it
Want the truth?
Hard to find
I am thinking it is a hard call
To shatter the illusion we hold
To open minds that are so locked
Sleeper awaken
Light a match and look around
All you will see is cloudy tales
Rummaged from the remnants of the past
Retold by the young and upcoming stars
of todays media
All one can do is keep trying
Not to be buried in the status quo
But to listen to the wind of change

Brilliant, I absolutely LOVE this. I think more and more people are waking up. You have planted a seed here for those that stumble onto this great write. To think about the ever repeating cycle society has conformed us to. We seem to fall for the same lies just painted in a different shade of hues. We need to listen to that natural inner voice. The one you elegantly portray as the wind. For nature is speaking to us, warning bells are there. We have just got to take our heads out of the man made, processed sand this current life has forced us into. To see beyond the sugar coated veil in front of our faces. A wonderful write, poetically charged

Wow, thank you so much for your comment.  You had me going " yeah, yeah! "   I believe firmly that waking up is a true statement,   people have been calling in their responsibility  and rights in kind of a half hearted way.   People the elections do matter it is our right, and our patriotic one as well.  I am not one to discuss parties or their policies, I feel I am an American and I should vote according to what I believe is the best for our nation and her people .   Thanks again

And if we don't agree with the current laws and mandates, if we feel there is corruption or incompetence in our leaders. In our local and federal levels, we need to start locally standing up in a call to object, to be heard and dealt with to stop tyranny.

So very welcome, I am from the UK But I view us humans in a global sense. I believe once we start looking at ourselves as a global unity, working together and communicating whole heartedly to each other on the welfare of this planet. Then we will see a change that truly lifts us as a species in this vast universe. As humans we have great potential. If we can just get our heads out of that sand. It is a long way off sadly x

Yes I agree for a long while separation was the name of the game. Divide us from our ancestors, split the nations in half and half again, wage war on our own countrymen.... and for what... usually power and money. If we but view our fellow humans as a part of us and  not some foreign nationality that has been reduced to sloans and slang.
we neef to lead with love. Not some poofy air head emotions but the love of  deep intelligence, the love that formed the worlds, the love that keeps us alive in space
I enjoyed this discussion with you.. awesome
