Poem -

The womb of me and you...

The womb of me and you...

The breathless moments of that fluttering feeling, you're listening to my voice, I feel you kicking,
The sunflowers on your wall are glistening, sorry your dad's not here, but no love will be missing,Β
He treated me wrong, he wasn't ready to be a father, it's just me and you,
Into this world, you won't be long, I'm so afraid, I'm just speaking the truth.

Within my tummy you've became my world, we'll be perfect together, on this earth,Β
A loving mummy, I feel can't be learned, I'll be here for you, every day of every year,
Through hard times we'll endeavour, from your little footsteps you'll grow forever,
We'll stay together through thick and thin, a mother and daughter, love ever after.

I feel you turning in my womb,
I can picture it now,
I will see your face some day soon,
You will make me so proud,

I've got everything ready for you, your room is like a summers day,Β
You'll have beauty and strength in your eyes, to have you in my arms, I just can't wait,
To nurse you asleep at night, feeling that bond, to taken you to feed the ducks at the local pond,
To wave you off to nursery, walking down that path, it'll feel so magical, I'll be looking for that magic wand.

Still...
I feel you turning in my womb,
I can picture it now,
I will see your face some day soon,
You will make me so proud,

To see you grow up and be such a beautiful woman, I can only imagine you'll be a wonderful mother yourself,
Trust, love and honesty, you'll carry in your beating heart, I'll always be around, but live your life with no regrets,
Everything I know, I'll pass onto you, create your own legacy, whatever it may be,
I'll give you my all, you will be my world, you'll be my baby girl, living so elegant and free.

Only weeks left now, I'm a little afraid, I wish I had my mother to ease my pain,
But everytime I feel that I need her, we'll wrap up warm and visit her resting place,
You will know of her legacy she left, we will talk endless of how she was a loving woman,
I know whenever the road will be a little hard for us, she will remind us that everyone stumbles,
But, we mustn't crumble.

So for now,
I feel you turning in my womb,
I can picture it now,
I will see your face some day soon,
You will make me so proud,
Some day soon...
