THE WORD OF GOD

Your Word, O God
Has condemned 
My evil thoughts 
And exposed my nakedness 

That which I held 
Close to my heart 
You abhor 
For my heart embraced sin

You could of left me 
In the darkness of my thoughts 
But your Word came to me
Like rain in a parched land
You quenched my soul

How Mighty 
Is The God of the cherubs 
How awesome are His miracles 
His Word dissect and heals 
It's a light unto the paths 
Of the righteous 

Faithful is Your Word O God
By your Word
You established kingdoms 
By Your Word 
You topples kings

Your Word is faithful and true 
Your Word is 
Your Heart revealed.
