THE WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

I met my mate Frankie in the cafe today 
I couldn't believe what I heard him say 
He told me of a world record he was hoping to achieve
Going without sleep for fifteen days I believe

Days one to five started very well 
Frankie wasn't tired but was starting to smell 
By day seven things took an unexpected twist 
As Frankie's eyes were closing as he thought of the bed that he missed 

Day eight and Frankie was out like a light 
His wife went upstairs and kissed him goodnight 
The world record still stands to this day 
A brave attempt by Frankie thwarted as tiredness got in the way
