Poem -
The world, through your eyes
 Whisk me away to a place, unknown
Where pasts are forgotten, and oats are sown
Show me the beauty that your eyes see
Where there's nothing but endless possibility
The stars will glisten a bit more bright
And snow has never looked so white
The grass will be greener than I've ever seen
We'll load up on sugar and caffeine
We'll write silly rhymes and sip champagne
And have absolutely nothing about which to complain
We'll fall asleep to the sound of night
To keep me warm, you'll hold me tight
And when I awaken, next to you
Glimpses of sunlight, poking through
It's like I've been given your eyes, to see
Because now I see nothing but beauty...even in me. -kjl
