The world’s wonderful wetlands?

Seashells shimmering in the summery sunlight scattered amongst the sandy shore is such a splendid sight
Espy the sea serpents with armoured plates on their tiny backs diving out and back in again from predator attacks

They are at the bottom of the seafood chain as the waves break from the shore sweeping them in again
Seagulls swooping low and scavenging for fish..squawking noisily whilst scooping up in a swish
As the neverending river runs to sea it amalgamates into an ocean and is forever salty

small but mighty presence on our earth,  boasting an invaluable abundance of Mother Nature’s worth
Creatures of every colour of the rainbow and various shapes and sizes dwell deep down beyond the sea’s surface with a multi-array of surprises
