The left hand side of the brain said that I must be right,
the right hand side said, never mind, I'll show you the light;
when it was time to make love, nothing was done by halves,
in fact, both together, they had so many very good laughs.

One would lie, the other would cover up and gloss over,
it said - don't mind him, because I'm really your lover;
the dreadful duo would later sit on a terrace and drink,
left would grin and say - 'goodbye, you are the weakest link.'

They denied there was any question of a split personality,
one said that I can't live without you - I'm where I want to be;
you do the job and I''ll blow the kisses - what a great team,
even sight was controlled, whereby one eye had a gleam.

We must meet up again - so that we're never so far apart,
make sure we're in charge - no total eclipse of the heart.
