Poem -

There is winter in hell

There is winter in hell

Would you believe there is winter in hell
It might sound nice, a cool breeze in the pits of fire and despair
There is indeed winter in hell
A harsh winter impossible to bear
Flakes of sulphur, white as winter's snow
The tortured souls weep of joy, their celebration bittersweetĀ
As the winter snow falls down, drifting slow
A swift break from this hellish heatĀ
They reach out, burning, the flakes etched into their skin
Punishment, reminder of sin
How long must they endure, not a soul can tell
Now would you believe there is winter in hell
