There's Always a Bird
Wafting her perfume,
Sharing the scentÂ
Please share your thoughts
Tell me how you feel
Your strength is stronger than my weakness
Blocking compassion with one anotherÂ
I seek answers to questionsÂ
Please allow me a little longer
Without me, we are broken
I will fill in the spares
Trust me, for the answers
As I whisper here in solitute
So little bird, I will listenÂ
Act when required
Cheer you up
Hold your hand
Cry, laugh
Live life to the moment
I promise to tell you my feelings.

howdy, Yvonne, there is a 'mysterious' aspect to this poem that I like, but yes, the overall meaning is hard to grasp, it really does open itself up to conjecture....seems to imply a stream of thought narrative, and communication breakdown in a relationship... reminds me of a maze that seems easy to solve on first blush, but leads to dead ends....still, I find it to be quite a fascinating read....asking for some guidance, poet, cheersÂ
