These are a few of my favourite things

Beautiful blossoms a’blooming in Spring
Honey bees buzzing and birds on the wing
Strolling the beaches and kicking the sand
Paddling and picking sea shells in my hand
Going on holidays and seeing new places
Tantalizing my tastebuds from foreigners faces
Super surprises to enjoy and excite
Sensational sunrises with dazzling delight

A Skylark sweetly singing on my Summertime stroll
Fresh air is fabulous for my heart and soul
Soaking up sunshine on a midsummers day
Listening to Lapwings with duck and dive play
An early morning bird chorus lying in my bed
On the onset of Springtime when new life is being bred
Hearing the hush hush from a light gentle breeze 
Clusters of daffodils and old tall oak trees

These are a few of my favourite things
With Christmas festivity and the cheeriness it brings
Roasting chestnuts on a warm toasty fire
Flickers of fascinating flames rising higher
I like Cadbury’s chocolate infact I love it too much
The texture on my tongue with it’s mellow melting touch
Grillied whole Lobster with Jersey potatoes, a garnished side salad of green leaves and tomatoes

Yes these are my favourite things indeed
With my passion of poetry as I write and read
To use one’s imagination from inside one’s own mind
Lost in my thought bubbles
shreds of threads hidden to find 
Cozied up on my couch creating my poem
Feeling the salvation of safeness in my little home
So don’t give me diamonds or fresh water pearls
Just to marvel at Mother nature makes me the happiest of girls
