Thirteen Tears

Today is the day that makes thirteen years.
I'm so broken up and so full of tears.
A long time ago thought it seem like yesterday.
Oh my God I don't even know what to say.
So long ago I was just a baby.
Without them here I am now a grown lady.
Steady growing, learning, and constantly changing.
Don't know the future but I'm still hanging.
A decade and some has molded my heart.
I still remember the day that we had to part.
This is for my parents, the two who created me.
Without them together I would not be me.
I miss you both there is no denying that.
With just one wish I would bring you both back.
Sooooo close yet so far, a whole lifetime away.
I need you right now, right here today!!!
Always on my mind and forever my heart.
|'m so glad you both blessed me to be so smart.
I'm living my life, doing my best, truly trying.
Inside for ya'll love my soul is still dying.
